Sumiyaki Carlota Akaneya

Last week we went to a Japanese restaurant in Barcelona called Carlota Akaneya. It’s a very cozy place. The food is really good quality and everything we ate was delicious!

Specially the Kobe beef ! it was the first time eating it and omg it has nothing to do with other beef I’ve had before. We also ate Karai potatoes, Sukiyaki and rice but I can’t remember the name of the dish…

I took pictures of everything except the dessert,  Green Tear Dayfuku and Frozen Maki (it was 3 maki pieces made of Ice cream and fruit or gelatin, not sure) also delicious!

COSMOBELLEZA 2010

A couple of weeks ago we went to Barcelona’s Comobelleza 2010. It is a beauty and hair convention where you can find the” latest trends” (sometimes latest trends in Spain, but not in other countries lol)  about those two fields. My mom runs her own beauty-hair salon and she loves to visit it!

This year’s latest trend in beauty was deco nails! Everyone was so excited with it! we even saw a nail printer but I forgot to take a picture.  To me the deco nails were not a surprise, cause I’ve know for many years Japanese deco nails (my friend Pinkyanela makes awesome deco nails, visit her etsy shop! www.pinkyanela.etsy.com )

One of the deco nail systems is this rounded metalic thing. You cover it with nail polish, then you use a stamp and then you stamp it in your nail.

XV Salón del Manga de Barcelona

This weekend I went to el Salón del Manga de Barcelona! It’s great fun always! Lots of cosplay, lots of manga, anime, merchandising, etc (and the green tea dayfuku I love but I forgot to take a picture)

This year there was Luis Royo (http://www.luisroyo.com/) there signing books! I bought a couple and after almost 2 hours waiting I got the 2 books with his signature and a drawing in one of them:D:D:DD:D:D
The moment I entered the convention I went straight to the Norma ed. stand to get his new book “Dead Moon” and I also bought “Prohibited book II” , once I paid I hurried to the queu and I started to talk with the girl and guy tha were before me. After 30 minutes talking we realized we didn’t move at all! we were worried cause in 1 hour he would stop signing. When after 1 hour we approached to the place were Luis Royo was we realized that he was not only signing ! he was drawing you a fast drawing on the book!!! and taking a pictures with people! :D :D waaaa so great news! it deserved waiting!

Finally we (the girl I was talking to and me) got our signatures, our drawings and our pics!
