A few days ago I received the new Meow Cosmetics collection Joys of Summer (actually it’s been on the website a few weeks) I really like the collection. I think Meow really knows how to create colours that represent their inspiration.

There’re lots of colours in this collection and some blushes, in this post I only swatch the eyeshadows. They’re over Lime Crime’s eyeshadow helper. I took the pictures outdoors, under the sun light and under not direct sunlight. You can see the difference of the pictures by how the colours shine more or not that much. I love love love how they look under direct sunlight!

Of the colours below, my fave is Lazy days, its a golden iridescent mauve (exactly as Meow describes) its so beautiful! Bare legs, Conch and Beachcombing are very pretty too. In general all are, but I just don’t use orange-brown.beige very often, they’re not my type of colour for anything (clothes, accessories, makeup, etc) I’m more of blue, purple and green.

On the picture below you can see the gold iridesent of Lazy days.

Here are the blue and green shades.My faves are  Marco Polo, Sea glass, Oddity, Cricket serenade, Cannonball, Cirque du Meow and Oasis.

I still have to do looks with most of the colours, so probably I will add some to my faves after applying it on the eyes. Overall I really like this collection, it captures the summer essence, but I’m sure I’ll use it during the rest of the year too

I have more swatches to post, Lost Rainforest, Egiptian Trasures, Neptune’s Grotto, Summer Spirits (which will arrive today I think-hope ^^)

I don’t have right now the complete collection of Lost Rainforest, but I will have it in a couple of weeks, since it’s a seasonal collection I think I may post the swatches I have now (actually most of the colours) and later add the rest.
